Job interviews are always exciting. There is a high mood when you receive an e -mail that invites you to interview. Come to time, answer all the questions and all in all, you feel like I had made a good impression.

Arrival too early or late

You might think about what is wrong. Arriving soon is a sign that you are prepared and you don’t want to be late, right? Well … not so much, no.

Getting 5-15 minutes in advance is fine. This shows that you are prepared and courteous and will also help you stabilize the nerves. Getting half an hour before, however, is a rather bad sign.

In reality it could come out as if you were too nervous, tense or you cannot correctly manage your time. They are not actually the types of personality traits that hiring managers are looking for.

Worse still to get too early, it arrives too late. This gives the impression that you are disorganized and that they do not worry about work.

Don’t ask questions

Don’t ask for information on the company or workplace you can make you seem that you don’t care much.

Good questions to ask:

  • In what direction do you see the business enter? That is, growth, new technology, new markets etc.

It’s nice to know that you want to work for a specific company. But the big question is why? Why should these people take on and not someone else?

If you don’t show interest, the employer might think that you are looking for the first available job. These people are not advantageous for the company because, usually, they do not stick for a long time. They play the game, they bore, they move on to the next game.

Be enclosed

It is important to respond completely to any question and show because you are suitable for the company. However, don’t wander. I did not spend the next 10 minutes to talk about how you are so good, how this is and that you will never do it.

If an employer wants to hear more than any story you are trying to tell, they will ask. There is absolutely no need to continue to continue the results you have already mentioned previously.

Forget to send a follow -Up saying thanks

The experts interviewed for the Independent said they had been more affected by those interviewees who would have sent thank you letters. He showed a sincere interest and made the candidate much more professional.

However, you shouldn’t simply write «thanks» and send it. Write that you appreciated that you were invited for an interview, express your excitement and certainly include something that was mentioned during the interview.

For example, assume that you are happy that the employer has asked a specific question, because it has given you the opportunity to talk about your talents and results.

If you remember to include these suggestions during your next interview, you are more likely to achieve success. But if you don’t get the job, don’t despair. There is always next time.
